FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for treating foods. Food processing device comprises: a container configured to receive a food product, base unit configured to support and accommodate said container, a vacuum mechanism configured to suck air from the container, having a vacuum pump located in the base unit, and a first vacuum channel passing through the base unit and connected to the vacuum pump, and a cover configured to close the container and provide air communication between the container and the base unit. Vacuum mechanism also comprises second vacuum channel passing through said cover. First vacuum channel and the second vacuum channel are made with possibility of their connection to each other by their respective connecting ends. At least one of said connecting ends of first vacuum channel and second vacuum channel is configured to move between outer position and retracted position in corresponding one of base unit and cover. Connection of first vacuum channel and second vacuum channel with each other occurs when at least one of connecting ends of first vacuum channel and second vacuum channel is in external position in corresponding one of base unit and cover. First vacuum channel and second vacuum channel are disconnected from each other when at least one of connecting ends of first vacuum channel and second vacuum channel is in retracted position in corresponding one of base unit and cover. Food processing device comprises a drive actuator configured to move at least one of the connecting ends of the first vacuum channel and the second vacuum channel in a corresponding one of the base unit and the cover in an outward direction, and at least one resilient element configured to displace at least one of the connecting ends of the first vacuum channel and the second vacuum channel in the corresponding one of the base unit and the cover to the retracted position.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of tight connection between vacuum channels of device, as well as in minimization of risk of damage of connecting ends of vacuum channels during installation of cover in place relative to basic unit.
