FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater engineering operations associated with the need for stabilization of spatial position and retention of underwater vehicle near or directly on sunken object for subsequent work or rescue operations. Device for holding inhabited underwater vehicle at sunken facility includes metal hollow rod with ball hinges, hemisphere-suction cup with rubberized edges along circumference and branch pipes with valves. Both ends of rod are equipped with hollow ball hinge headers, in which holes for water passage are made. On working (docking) end of rod there is a hemisphere-suction cup, in intake spherical cavity of which there are holes for water bypass from hemisphere into hollow rod. In its turn, rod end with ball headband is pivotally connected with receiving ball chamber fixed on device housing, which is made with outlet hole, into which pipeline with two branch pipes, each of which is equipped with shutoff valve, is welded in. One branch pipe is connected to equalizing cistern of the apparatus, and the other one is connected to off-shore pipeline of the apparatus.
EFFECT: reliable retention of the apparatus at the sunken object body with subsequent undocking after performance of underwater works.
