FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and electric power engineering, can be used in electric networks for flexible regulation and voltage stabilization and is aimed at improving reliability of operation of regulator of booster alternating voltage and reducing its cost. Developed is a variable-voltage alternating voltage controller (1) connected by its first (2) and second (3) input terminals to a power supply, and first (4) and second (5) output terminals - to load (6) and comprising multiwinding booster transformer (7) with network winding (8) and secondary windings (9), (10), key transducer (11), inputs which are connected to power supply, voltage sensor (24), control unit (25) and serial controlled switch (12). Successively connected serial controlled switch (12) and network winding (8) of multi-winding booster transformer (7) are connected between first input (1) and output terminals (3). Secondary windings (9), (10) of multi-winding booster transformer (7) are connected to outputs of key converter (11). First input of voltage sensor (24) is connected to first output terminal (3), second input is connected to second output terminal (4), and its output is connected to control unit (25). Alternating voltage booster controller is equipped with additional controlled key (13) connected in parallel to serial connection of serial controlled key (12) and network winding (8) of multi-winding booster transformer (7).

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of quality of electric energy on load of regulator of booster alternating voltage.
