FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary device (10) to provide rotary motion between crane boom and the like and hydraulic tool. Rotary device comprises first fastening part (15) configured to be attached to the boom arm and the like, second fastening part (16) configured to be attached to the hinged implement, housing (20) connecting the first attachment part (15) to the second attachment part (16). Housing (20) is configured to withstand loads of hydraulic tool and comprises bearing (18) and the like, allowing first housing part to rotate relative to housing second part, and hydraulic rotation motor (11), made with possibility to provide rotational movement between first and second fastening parts (15, 16) around axis of rotation (A). Engine comprises stator (13) and rotor (12), rotor (12) is located inside stator with possibility of rotation relative to stator (13) around the same axis of rotation (A), as the first and second fastening parts. Hydraulic connections (31) for supply of hydraulic tool with hydraulic fluid are located opposite first fastening part (15) and substantially parallel to axis of rotation (A) by means of or through rotor (12) of engine (11), rotor (12) is located inside said housing (20). Torque transfer unit (14) is configured to transmit rotary motion provided by motor (11) between first and second fastening parts (15, 16), torque transfer unit transmits said rotary motion without transfer of significant axial and radial loads.

EFFECT: providing rotary motion without excessive stress between stator and rotor and arrangement of cables and hoses in unassembled form.
