ARCTIC WIND-DRIVEN POWER PLANT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC F03D9/00 E02D27/35

Abstract RU 2733683 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of renewable energy sources and can be used for power supply of various objects, mainly in the Arctic. Arctic wind-driven power plant includes tubular base, mast with tension bracings 3, Darrieus wind turbine, converters and energy accumulators. Fastening of every tension bracing 3 to permafrost soil 8 is thermosiphon and condenser. Thermosiphon comprises an evaporator in form of well 10 located in permafrost partially filled with low-boiling liquid 11, for example ammonia. Condenser is located in atmospheric air in the form of a tubular heat exchanger 9 tightly connected to the upper end of well 10.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing stability and strength of attachment of tension bracings in permafrost soils under conditions of toppling over action of arctic winds.
