FIELD: cooling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for direct cooling of a typical process with a fixed heat load to a lower temperature in order to provide the possibility of performance of maintenance or other non-standard works with a standard process. Method comprises circulation of a portion of product gas stream from a typical process having a temperature in the range of about 50–500 °F, by non-mechanical pump, providing flow of evaporated working fluid medium into non-mechanical pump at temperature in range from about −452 °F to about 50 °F, combining the product gas stream and the evaporated working fluid medium in the non-mechanical pump, wherein combined stream has temperature in range from about −50 °F to about 300 °F, correction of ratio of mass flow rates of product gas flow to evaporated working fluid flow, combined in non-mechanical pump, and cooling of standard process by means of cooling flow, which is a combined flow directed from non-mechanical pump.
EFFECT: invention provides improvement of straight-flow cooling of a standard process.
