SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in designing multi-position radio systems. This method comprises receiving, by an antenna array, a quasi-continuous broadband signal at each receiving position, observing intervals are formed, at which correlation matrix of signals of input realization of quasi-continuous broadband signal is calculated, calculating a differential correlation matrix of signals and a trace of a differential correlation matrix with subsequent generation and normalization of the dependence ; calculating mutual correlation function of dependence ; method of noise reduction based on discrete S-transformation is performed; determining the stroke difference for each position by the mutual correlation function envelope maximum with the cross-correlation processing system; coordinates of the source of the quasi-continuous wideband signal are estimated using a different-range-finding method based on analysis of the time dependence of the trace of the difference-correlation signal matrices.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining location of sources of quasi-continuous broadband signal by radio engineering system.
