FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to maxillofacial and plastic surgery. After treatment of wound surface lines of future incisions are marked. For this purpose, a distance equal to at least half the width of the defect is set aside. This value is determined by measuring the distance between the nasal septum located in the depth and the edge of the defect. Then, after infiltration with an analgesic solution, incisions are made along the specified lines. Mucoperiosteal flaps are mobilized with a base at defect edges 1–2 mm deeper than the area of the defect edges. Mobilized mucoperiosteal flaps are turned into nasal cavity and sutured together by back interrupted sutures without tension. Cross-linked wound surfaces of the flaps are covered with a pre-formed plasma membrane.
EFFECT: method enables creating an optimal environment for regeneration of a hard palate in the wound surface area, ensuring healing without a secondary defect, reducing the number of recurrent postoperative defects accompanying surgical removal of extensive hard palate defects.
