SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network services and corresponding descriptors of network services. A method of setting a network service descriptor (NSD) for a network service (NS) and a network function virtualisation orchestrator (NFV) (NFVO) using said NSD descriptor, NSD descriptor contains zero, one or more of each of the following elements: a virtualized network function descriptor (VNF) (VNFD), a physical network function descriptor (PNF) (PNFD), a network service descriptor (NSD), a virtual link descriptor (VLD) and a VNF function transfer descriptor (VNFFGD), comprises a step of determining at least one profile of connection points (CP), wherein the CP profile is referred via the cpProfileId identifier in the network path descriptor (NFPD) attribute of the VNFFGD descriptor, the CP profile indicates a connection point descriptor (CPD) or a service access point (SAPD) descriptor for the given profile VnfProfile, PnfProfile or NsProfile.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of determining a different role and / or connection for each separate instance of a given type of object.
