SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a hydrocyclone separator for sorting solid material contained in a liquid suspension. Hydrocyclone separator comprises a head part having an inlet channel and a conically tapering separation part. According to the invention, the hydrocyclone separator has one or more internal ribs that cause disturbance of the material flow inside the hydrocyclone separator.
EFFECT: controlled turbulent separated flow is proposed.
