SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a dental film for treating and preventing alveolitis. Dental film for treatment and prevention of alveolitis based on herbal extract, which contains a dry water-alcohol extract of astragalus foxtail grass, essential oil of peppermint, lidocaine hydrochloride, ascorbic acid, gelatine, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, glycerin, sorbitol, nipagin and purified water, with a certain ratio of components.
EFFECT: above described film is effective for prevention and treatment of alveolitis, is convenient and hygienic in use, with good fixation and prolonged effect, and also possessing antimicrobial and antibacterial actions.
