FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for degassing cylinders in motor vehicles operating on compressed natural gas for their subsequent maintenance and repair. Proposed device comprises inlet line, three accumulator batteries, reservoir with inert gas and residual gas discharge line interconnected by pipeline system and electronic control unit. Degassing process is performed in automatic mode due to installation of electromagnetic valves in front of input line, each accumulator battery, reservoir with inert gas and residual gas discharge line.
EFFECT: technical result is automation of degassing of cylinders.
