FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment. To determine complex resistances of sections of main line and branches of consumers in electric network, current values of currents and voltages are measured, as well as active and reactive power at the beginning of the line and each network subscriber, made simultaneously for the same observation interval using the automated measuring and information system for electric power fiscal metering in two different modes, which are detected by the head instrument of change in voltage and/or current at the beginning of the controlled section of the network. In case load current of consumers is equal to zero, test mode is provided, where it is possible to connect test load in subscriber counters and function of variation in permissible limits of supply voltage at the beginning of line. Measurement data of subscribers counters in the specified modes are transmitted to the head counter, in which the complex resistances of sections of the main line and consumers' branches are calculated.
EFFECT: technical result is expansion of automated measuring and information system for electric power fiscal metering functional capabilities for the purpose of on-line diagnostics of sections of 0_4 kV distribution network lines and reduction of electric energy losses.
