FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: to determine places of uncontrolled electric power consumption in electric network after disconnection of load of all commercial consumers from controlled section of distribution network at different values of test resistances, connected to consumers conductors phase wire rupture, measuring actual values of voltage y consumers, calculating difference of measured supply voltage in control center and voltages at consumers, detecting place of uncontrolled power consumption by value of voltage difference measured at consumers and in control center. To achieve this result, commercial consumers load on controlled section of distribution network connected to line via remotely controllable from control center electric power meters located at consumer, having function of load disconnection by command, and remotely controlled by consumer counters switching test resistance consisting of a modem, a control unit, a unit of controlled keys and a set of test resistances.

EFFECT: reduction of electric energy losses.
