SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering, in particular to the design of devices for mixing solid and liquid materials in horizontal design, and can be used in production of suspensions, emulsions, as well as in food, textile and polymer industries. Single-shaft horizontal mixer for mixing solid and liquid components at atmospheric pressure and low temperature comprises a cylindrical mixing chamber with a jacket, powder materials loading unit, located in the upper part of the apparatus and made in the form of a screw dosing bin, liquid-phase substances supply unit, consisting of at least two fog-type nozzles located inside the mixing chamber, rotating element consisting of a horizontal shaft and at least three headpieces for axial transportation of the mixture and at least two headpieces for intensive mixing of the mixture, made in the form of a disc and fixed by means of a detachable connection on its periphery of the blades, wherein the blades for creating the axial flow are flat and inclined at a certain angle relative to the plane of rotation of the shaft, and the blades for intensive mixing are bent against the plane of rotation of the shaft, finished product discharge assembly is arranged at mixer bottom, and control assembly.

EFFECT: intensification of mixing process during preparation of homogeneous suspension in continuous mode, as well as increase of productivity due to horizontal design of mixer.
