FIELD: refrigeration equipment; heat engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refrigerating machines or heat pumps using magnetic material as working medium and magnetocaloric effect for cooling or heating. Compensation device of magnetic forces in magnetic refrigerating or thermal machines with linear reciprocating movement of regenerator comprises working containers with magnetic material, through which heat carrier purging is performed during machine operation. Between working containers compensating containers are placed, filled with magnetic material, not involved in process of heat exchange in working circuit of machine and serving for compensation of forces, occurring when the regenerator moves in the magnetic field source.

EFFECT: technical result is minimization of magnetic forces acting on regenerator.
