SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for diagnosing pathologies in biological tissues. Disclosed is a biomedical material for diagnosing pathologies in biological tissues, comprising a nanosized upconversion luminophore and an organic additive, wherein as an upconversion phosphor it contains a nanoamorphous complex silicate of rare-earth elements of composition Sr2Y6.8YbEr0.2Si6O26⋅(8.5–10 wt%), and as an organic additive - silicon dimethylglycerolates of composition (CH3)2Si(C3H7O3)2⋅xC3H8O3, where 0.25 ≤ x ≤ 0.40, (balance to 100 wt%).
EFFECT: disclosed biomedical material provides improved visualization of pathological cells of biological tissue by enhancing luminescence of the red radiation component.
