FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to green luminophores and can be used to visualize light in the infrared range in lighting systems and visualize biological tissues. Disclosed is a new chemical compound – complex silicate of rare-earth elements of the composition Sr2Y8-x-yYbyHoxSi6O26, where 0.005 ≤ x ≤ 0.05, 0.2 ≤ y ≤ 0.3, in nanoamorphic state as up-conversion luminophore of green luminescence. New composition of the up-conversion luminophore provides high purity of luminescence along with intense green luminescence.
EFFECT: proposed invention widens the range of green luminophores used for imaging light in the infrared range.
