SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry, namely, to fur industry, and can be used in process of soaking of down and fur raw materials. Method of processing down and fur raw material at the stage of soaking 1 and soaking 2 is carried out with an aqueous solution of a surfactant and sodium chloride. Surfactant is an anionic surfactant based on a mixture of stearic acid and palmitic acid, and the mixture is used at the following ratio of initial components (g/l): sodium chloride 20.0, an anionic surfactant based on a mixture of stearic acid and palmitic acid 1.0–1.5.

EFFECT: proposed method for treatment of down and fur raw material at stages of soaking allows intensifying the process of soaking of down and fur raw materials using renewable natural raw safe for the environment.
