FIELD: refrigerating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for upgrading an absorption-cooling system comprising evaporator (2), in which liquid cooling agent (20) is evaporated to obtain gaseous coolant (21), absorber (3), in which said gaseous coolant (21) is absorbed in suitable poor solution (23) to obtain rich solution (24) and releasing heat removed by cooling medium, desorber (4), in which said rich solution (24) is heated, which causes evaporation of coolant to form gaseous coolant (27) and lean solution (23), air cooling apparatus, in which gaseous coolant leaving desorber (4) is condensed by heat exchange with cooling air to obtain said liquid coolant (20). In the proposed method, the air cooling unit is replaced with evaporation condenser (5). Absorber (3) comprises several heat exchangers (301–304), through which said cooling medium (W1) passes successively from one heat exchanger to the next one. Breaking flow (W1) of cooling medium between heat exchanger (302) and next heat exchanger (303), thus forming first section (305) and additional heat exchange section (306) after said first heat exchange section. Heat exchange sections are isolated from each other on the side of cooling medium, and a line (W2) is installed for supply to the above additional section (306) of heat exchange of the flow of the additional cooling medium.
EFFECT: technical result is achieving optimal trade-off between adequate absorber cooling effect and adequate pressure level inside evaporator and absorber operating at equal pressure.
