SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for synthesis of a regioregular polyester, a regioregular polyester and a stereoregular regioregular polyester. This method includes the following stages: a) carrying out, while stirring, an asymmetric diol reaction containing a primary alcohol functional group and a secondary alcohol functional group, with a symmetric dicarboxylic acid or with a symmetric dicarboxylic acid ester in the presence of an enzyme catalyst belonging to the lipase category, obtaining a regioregular stable intermediate product; b) reacting a regioregular stable intermediate obtained in step (a) with a bifunctional acylating reagent, having two acylating functional groups with identical reactivity, to obtain a regioregular polyester. Intermediate product consists of two links of said asymmetric diol and one link of symmetric dicarboxylic acid. Regioregular polyester with equal molecular weight shows physical and chemical properties, different from homologous polyesters having disordered structure, synthesized by one polycondensation step, having higher value of glass transition temperature and partial crystallinity.
EFFECT: technical result is that the method enables to obtain ordered polyesters with controlled regioregularity, wherein it is possible to adjust and modify the physical and chemical properties of the end product.
