FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of three-phase AC motors. Described are methods and control device for three-phase electric motor control, in which engine windings are switched between a star and a delta connection depending on the required torques, wherein the motor windings are switched to the braking mode, when braking moment is required. Monitoring electromagnetic torque of engine, and switching command is sent from star connection to connection by triangle, when electromagnetic torque increases to threshold value or exceeds threshold value. Switching command from delta connection to star connection is given when electromagnetic torque decreases with reaching second threshold value. Present invention describes a method for determining instantaneous values of electromagnetic torque of an engine based on measuring phase current and phase voltage at specific times in a voltage cycle.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of control device.
