SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control electric differentials based on electric synchronous motors. The method for controlling active electric differentials of a vehicle is based on changing and discretely controlling the power and driving moment of the rotor in each motor-wheel, which is carried out by changing the electromagnetic mode of linear synchronous motors located in the plane of each motor-wheel, redistributing control signals applied to groups of inductors of linear synchronous motors of motor-wheels and switching modes of electric differentials. The formation of the angular characteristics of linear synchronous motors, software control and regulation of electromagnetic active modes in inductors is carried out using high-speed electronic switches, and the change in the active modes of electric differentials is carried out by pulse and phase-pulse methods.
EFFECT: increase in the specific energy characteristics of vehicle electric drive.
