FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: helical spring (2) is intended for use in suspension (1) of rocker mechanism type. Spring includes working part with cylindrical shape made between part (20) of lower end turn and part (21) of upper end turn. Bend control part (100) includes convergent part (25) which is formed in a part of at least one end coil. Narrowing part (25) has shape with thickness decreasing from middle part (20) of end turn to far end (4X) of wire (4) along its length. Bending of working part is suppressed due to compensation of change of inclination of support (10) for spring by means of convergent part (25).
EFFECT: reduced amplitude of stress, reduced weight of spring, as well as possibility of making spring by means of machine for hot winding.
