FIELD: locks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drive (1) for unlocking and locking lock (1'), providing access to protected areas. Device contains inside its casing (5): reducer assembly (6), at least one electric power source (9) and drive motor (10) transmitting drive force to control element (3) for lock mechanism (1') by means of reduction gear assembly (6). Lock (1') comprises housing (4), in which control element (3) is installed with possibility of rotation. Drive device (1) is characterized in that separate power source (9) is shaped so that in cross section made through drive motor (10) and electric power source (9), it at least partially surrounds drive motor (10), which means that in the cross-section area through power source (9) there are at least two points located so that the linear segment connecting these points passed through the cross-section area drive motor (10).
EFFECT: invention enables to develop a new drive device for unlocking and locking the lock, wherein the drive device has a simple design and small overall dimensions.
