SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Disclosed is an agent for presowing treatment of seeds of agricultural plants, which is a nanocomposite based on metal powder and polysaccharide. Nanocomposite is obtained from an aqueous suspension of copper and / or cobalt nanoparticles of a spherical shape with size of 20–40 nm, a polysaccharide complex isolated from a common knotgrass herb and water. Components are stirred for 15 minutes by means of ultrasonic treatment with power of not less than 300 W with frequency of 23.74 kHz, the obtained nanocomposite is precipitated with ethanol, washed with acetone and dried.

EFFECT: invention ensures production of highly effective agent for pre-sowing treatment of agricultural crops seeds.
