FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and specifically to a method of producing an antioxidant nanosized form of the essential microelement selenium. Method of producing an antioxidant nanosized form of an essential microelement selenium, comprising preparing 10 ml of 0.0035M solution of selenous acid in distilled water, in which a weighed portion of 0.0804 g stabilizer is dissolved, then preparation of 5 ml of 0.031M solution of ascorbic acid in distilled water, then its drop-by-drop introduction into the solution of selenous acid and stabilizer with constant stirring at rate of 600 rpm for 10 minutes, where in the process of mixing the solution is additionally treated by the action of ultrasonic radiation with the following values of parameters: working solution sounding frequency – 29 kHz, ultrasound radiation modulation frequency – 45 Hz, time of sounding the working solution is 17 minutes, relative power of ultrasound radiation is 90 W/l.
EFFECT: novel method of producing an antioxidant nanosized form of an essential microelement selenium using an additional treatment of the reaction mixture with ultrasonic radiation, which enables to accelerate the process of producing a nanosized form of selenium with considerable aggregate stability during storage and pronounced antioxidant activity.
