System of auxiliary units at internal combustion engine includes operated as motor/generator electric machine; an expansion machine for converting waste heat from an internal combustion engine or a braking system using an engine thrust, into useful energy by means of a steam circuit and auxiliary units, namely: a water pump, a fuel supply pump, a high-pressure fuel pump, a steering booster pump and an oil pump. System of auxiliary units is implemented with a no-time drive. Auxiliary units are electrically driven and/or mechanically driven gear drive, which is in active connection with internal combustion engine. Electric and expansion machine via gear drive are in active connection with engine crankshaft.
