FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of multi-wave seismic survey with recording of elastic vibrations by vertical seismic receivers is based on technology of area seismic investigations, which is most widely used in the world for search of hydrocarbon deposits and study of geological structure of medium. Obtained seismic data are the result of interaction of longitudinal, exchange and transverse waves, the strongest of which are longitudinal waves. All further processing and interpretation is oriented only to longitudinal waves. A priori it is considered that exchange and transverse waves cannot be isolated from primary material due to low signal amplitude. To study them, special three-dimensional studies are performed, the cost of which is almost three times higher than the cost of works using longitudinal waves. Disclosed method enables detecting metabolic and transverse waves even in standard studies. But in order to improve the quality of exchange and transverse waves extraction, it is necessary to record either single seismic receivers or a group on a small base and in a wide frequency range. Recording time and the arrangement length must also be increased for reliable detection of transverse waves from deep reflecting horizons. Multi-wave seismic prospecting method involves additional processing of seismic data after obtaining a cube of time cuts of longitudinal waves and their subtraction from the primary material. Further, according to the same scheme, exchange and transverse waves cubes are obtained, which are used for complex interpretation with longitudinal waves.
EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy and information value of obtained data.
