SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a protective casing for a grinding machine with a vacuum suction system, having a strong inner and dust-suction outer casing elements, made in the form of open cylinders with possibility of assembly, rotation on rotation axes, dust-suction external element of the casing is connected by means of dust discharge pipe with system of dust suction, edge of dust-suction external element of casing, adjacent to processed surface, along the entire perimeter is equipped with a dense brush with bristles from uniformly alternating sound-absorbing carbon fiber, nylon threads and wires from thermoelastic damping titanium-nickel alloy. Casing is characterized by that dust-suction external element of casing is made of silicone and is equipped with horizontal corrugations, allowing free vertical movement of its edge is commensurate with wear of abrasive wheel, lower edge of the strong inner element of the casing is connected with possibility of rotation with the dust-suction external element edge by the connection unit, possibility of rotation of strong inner element of jacket is provided by its axis, axis of rotation of strong inner element of jacket is shifted along longitudinal axis of tool to create eccentricity a, eccentricity a provides a quasi-permanent air gap b between the wearing abrasive wheel and the upper edge of the strong inner element of the jacket, the bristles are alternately inclined to the treated surface.

EFFECT: proposed invention allows to reduce level of dust content and noise with simultaneous protection of tool (particularly disc) from hard impact effects with frequent change of locations at workplace.
