Communication method includes data transmission between first network (12) and second network (14) and transmission control between the first and second networks (12, 14) by means of gateway module (20). Communication system includes first network (12) and second network (14) and gateway module (20). Rail vehicle (1) comprises such a communication system.
EFFECT: improved flexibility when transmitting critical data for safety in the area of a vehicle.
