FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to production of rolled sheet semi-finished products from austenitic corrosion-resistant steel in form of 18-8 steel or 18-10 steel, and can be used for production of structural elements. Performing hot forging of steel workpieces at temperature of 1100 °C to true degree of deformation of 0.7<e<0.8 with subsequent cooling in water. Then, forged steel billets are subjected to high-temperature annealing at temperature of 1050 °C for 30 minutes with cooling in water. Produced billets are subjected to said sheet rolling at temperature of 300 °C to true degree of deformation of 0.4<e<0.45.

EFFECT: obtaining rolled semi-products from austenitic corrosion-resistant steel, having simultaneously high plasticity and viscosity combined with high strength while maintaining corrosion resistance at temperature of 20 °C to minus 60 °C.
