FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a sheet blank from austenitic corrosion-resistant steel 03Kh17N12M2 includes deformation-heat treatment of a blank from austenitic corrosion-resistant steel by rolling and heat treatment. A blank made of austenitic corrosion-resistant steel 03Kh17N12M2 is processed in five stages, whereas at the first stage the blank is annealed at a temperature of 1100°C for 30 minutes, followed by cooling in water, at the second stage the blank is rolled at a temperature of 300°C to the true degree of deformation e = 2, followed by cooling the sheet blank in water, at the third stage, the sheet blank is annealed at a temperature of 700°C for 2 hours, followed by cooling in water, at the fourth stage, rolling is carried out at a temperature of 300°C to the true degree of deformation e = 1, followed by cooling in water, and at the fifth stage, the final annealing of the sheet blank is carried out at a temperature of 700°C for 2 hours, followed by cooling in water.

EFFECT: obtaining a sheet blank from steel 03Kh17N12M2 with both high strength and ductility.
