SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of anti-tilting mechanisms, which serve to prevent spontaneous tilting of cabinets, tables, pedestals and other furniture having drawers. Anti-tilting mechanism includes a support fixed on the inner surface of the furniture casing, on which a locking bar is installed, and attachment assemblies installed on each drawer, which interact with the shut-off rod, wherein the shut-off rod is connected to the support by means of a pin and two springs - a plate spring and a tension spring, has asymmetric bent profile and is able to rotate about pin, and the boxes fasteners are made in the form of an insert, into which there is a detachable bracket having a cavity of a complex shape, intended for interaction with the shut-off rod.

EFFECT: in this design of anti-tilting mechanism, unlike analogues, blocking of drawers is performed by means of shuttle rotation, and not by its linear movement - due to this interaction of the shut-off rod with attachment units of boxes does not depend on the height of their location in the furniture body, and this allows to install in furniture different combinations of drawers of any height, without the need to replace the shut-off rod.
