FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of transmitting a service includes: transmitting, by a base station to a terminal, a switch to a narrowband reception mode, instructing the terminal to switch to a given narrow band-pass, wherein width of narrow pass band is less than bandwidth of system; and scheduling by base station switching of terminal to system bandwidth or to passband, occupied for pre-planned service, in order to receive a pre-planned service, when it is necessary to send it; wherein method includes: transmitting downlink control information for a terminal and transmitted in a downlink physical control channel in a narrow bandwidth; wherein the downlink control channel information is in the search space used by the particular terminal that corresponds to the given terminal, and uses control channel elements aggregation level corresponding to said terminal.

EFFECT: enabling terminal to flexibly switch between narrow band pass and system pass band, balance between power consumption of terminal and operational characteristics of system.
