FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to natural gas liquefaction techniques. Natural gas is compressed to supercritical pressures by means of multi-stage compressor 1, gas is pre-cooled by boiling of coolant in evaporators 6 with different pressure level, gas pressure is reduced, flash gas is separated and liquefied natural gas is discharged. Coolant obtained during evaporation is compressed, condensed and reused at preliminary cooling of natural gas. Coolant is condensed by means of air or water cooling apparatuses 10, 11 together with absorption cooling machine 12, as energy source of which flue gas heat of compressor 1 drive is used. Absorption refrigerating machine 12 is connected between heat exchanger 15 of cold recovery of evaporated coolant and compressor 1. Compressor drive output for flue gases is connected to recuperative heat exchanger 13, outlet and input of which for heat carrier are connected to inlet and outlet of refrigerating machine 12 for heat carrier.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying and improving energy efficiency of natural gas liquefaction, as well as reducing power consumption for operation of the plant at ambient temperature of up to +35 °C.
