FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed technical solution relates to oil refining and petrochemical industry. Catalyst preparation method used is catalyst used as sulphated zirconium hydroxide with sulphate ion content from 5 to 15 wt%, obtained from a zirconium salt, which is subjected to deposition with an alkaline agent, thereby converting the salt into zirconium hydroxide, followed by sulphate procedure promoted or not promoted with metals: Mn, Fe, Ce, Y, La, Ni, Co and/or their oxides. At that, the support is annealed for a period of time from 10 minutes to 3 hours at temperature from 550 to 700 °C, and then cooled. To increase efficiency of catalyst, temperature is raised at rate from 1 to 10 °C per minute. At that, catalyst cooling rate is in ranges: at catalyst temperature of 700–300 °C cooling rate is 5–150 °C per minute; at catalyst temperature of 300–100 °C cooling rate is 1–50 °C per minute, at catalyst temperature of 100–25 °C cooling rate is 0.5–30 °C per minute.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the catalyst.
