SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to valve manufacturing, and can be used in oil refining, chemical and other industries, mainly for heavy operating conditions. Ball valve comprises an annular housing with a plug located in the centre of its inner cavity with a flow passage, interacting on both sides with sealing elements of seats installed in the bores of the branch pipes connected to the annular housing, and flanges of branch pipes, conjugated with annular housing, are made with conical outer wall interacting with mating tapered surfaces of detachable, enclosing both flanges jacket, consisting of two equal halves equipped with recesses, connected to each other by means of fasteners, and jacket connector can be located both in vertical and in horizontal planes, at that holes for connection of halves of jackets by means of fixture are located in corners of halves.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the consumer properties of the ball valve by reducing time for its disassembly and assembly.
