FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: bellow ball valve with an upper connector includes a body connected to a top cover plate, to inlet and outlet branch pipes, and a ball plug installed on the shaft through spring-loaded seats with contact surface in the form of a ball belt. A damper is installed between the ball plug at the bottom and the shaft. At the top, between the plug and the stock there installed is a converter of back-and-forth movement to rotational movement without any displacement of force transfer axs. The converter consists of a separator with at least two slots structurally made at a certain angle for installation of rolling bodies (balls) and external framework. The latter has a collar fixed between support roller bearings. Inside the separator there arranged is a stock having a base, on which there made are slots similar to slots of the separator for arrangement of rolling bodies (balls). A collar is made on the stock. One end of the bellow assembly is welded to that collar. The other end of the bellow assembly is attached to the cover plate by means of a lens through a stressed multilayered toroid-shaped sealing element.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of using the above valve for operation with corrosive and radioactive working media characterised with high parameters; improving reliability and durability of power plants without constant maintenance of valves.
