FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental protection, namely to composition of neutralizing component, which can be used for decontamination of oil wastes at their ingress into water reservoir, soil or during spillage onto solid surface. Disclosed is composition of neutralizing component for decontaminating oil wastes by combined sorption-reagent method, containing calcined component at 800 °C and minced to 0–100 mcm diatomite calcined at 400 °C and ground to 0–100 mcm zeolite-containing rock, 40–45 % aqueous solution of sodium methyl siliconate or potassium methyl siliconate, air-slaked lime, concentrated orthophosphoric acid, with the following ratio of components, wt%: diatomite 70.0–78.0; zeolite-containing rock 15.0–20.0; 40–45 % aqueous solution of sodium methyl siliconate or potassium methyl siliconate 0.5–1.0; air-slaked lime 5.0–6.0; concentrated orthophosphoric acid 1.5–3.0.
EFFECT: as a result of using a neutralizing component for decontaminating oil wastes, reduction of negative effect of oil wastes, as well as products formed by neutralizing them on the environment, can be achieved.
