FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes grinding and mixing zeolite-containing rock with a combustible additive, binder and an aqueous plasticiser solution and moulding granules. The granules then undergo drying, heat treatment, hydrothermal crystallisation in a concentrated alkaline solution, washing, drying, heat treatment, treatment with concentrated hydrochloric acid, washing and drying. Cement with addition of 1-20% aqueous ethylene glycol solution is used as the binder. Pine sawdust is used as the combustible additive.The drying and heat treatment processes are carried out with a given rate of raising temperature. Heat treatment is combined with evacuation.
EFFECT: high sorption capacity and mechanical strength of the adsorbent, and faster production thereof.
