FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to reduce loss of crop capacity during planting of maize-after-maize. Method comprises treating inoculum containing Penicillium bilaii, populations of plants or seeds of maize, or soil, or combinations thereof and planting maize in field during growing season, which immediately follows one planting of maize plants on the field.
EFFECT: invention excludes the need to alternately plant different crops on the field and provides higher efficiency of corn crop without intermediate sowing of plant, other than maize.
