FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system relates to radio electronics and is intended for subsurface probing from aircraft. Multifunctional helicopter radioelectronic system includes a subsurface probing unit and a radio-frequency source (RFS) location determining unit. Subsurface probing unit comprises a synchroniser, transmitters, antenna switches, transceiving antennae, receivers, processing units, a viewing sector switch, a strobe pulse generator, a colour indicator, a thermal imaging sensor, a television sensor, a receiving unit and a laser.
EFFECT: technical result is high noise-immunity and reliability of determining location of radio-frequency sources.
