FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to design of electrical cabinets or boards used for arrangement of electrical equipment. Disclosed is an electric cabinet, on the surface of which there is a rectangular opening, above which a pressure release valve is installed, consisting of a frame and a cover. Frame and cover are interconnected by two tension springs. Valve frame is made in the form of a rectangular flange with flanging, the flange of the frame along the perimeter is attached to the surface of the electrical cabinet by means of screws. Flanging of the frame along two opposite sides is performed at an acute angle to the flange surface, along two other sides - at right angle to the flange surface. Valve cover is rectangular with flanging to cover the frame. Flanging of valve cover on three sides is performed at right angle to surface of cover, on fourth side there is increased flanging at acute angle to surface of cover. Springs are attached to the valve cover at the points located close to the acute-angled flanging of the cover; other ends of the springs are fixed between the frame and the surface of the electrical cabinet from the inside at points more distant from the acute-angled flanging of the cover. On the sharp edged flange of the valve cover the holes are made so that when the cover of the screw head fastening the valve frame is opened, they pass through the holes.
EFFECT: use of invention makes it possible to create electric cabinet with pressure release valve, returning to initial position after pressure drop inside cabinet, design of the valve without the use of seals provides protection of the equipment placed inside the electric cabinet against harmful impact of vertically dripping water.
