FIELD: furniture; medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of metal furniture, mainly furniture for medical institutions. Result is produced by metal cabinet containing front frame connected with fasteners with at least one door in frame opening, sides, rear wall, roof, bottom and at least one shelf resting on side walls and rear wall, wherein each side of the cabinet has a flanging on one side and a post on the other side, the post is made integral of the side sheet metal sheet and has a flanging, between which a gap is formed between the side wall plane and flange in which the flanging rear wall of the cabinet is located, wherein the post extends over the entire height of the side member, has holes at the ends, in which self-tapping screws are arranged, connecting the side member post with the rear wall, the roof and the bottom, wherein said cabinet elements form one section thereof, configured to be connected to another similar section. Sidewall frame is formed by bends of its sheet, end bend forms edge part end part flanging. For connection of adjacent two sections of cabinets between sections one partition is located. Method of cabinet installation includes operations of connection of its parts, for which frame and sidewall are fixed in vertical position so that flanging of sidewall envelopes with itself on outer side of frame stand, then to second post of frame is connected the second sidewall in case of assembly of single-section cabinet. After that flanging of back wall of cabinet into slots of sides frames is introduced, they are put on hooks of side walls and rear wall of flanging of roof, flange and bottom. Roof flanges, flanges and bottom holes are combined with holes of side walls and back wall, bushings are inserted into aligned holes, then self-tapping screws are inserted into holes of sidewalls, which are tightened to the stop.

EFFECT: simplification of cabinet design and method of its installation.
