SUBSTANCE: robotic fire-extinguishing unit with a system for preventive monitoring and selective quenching relates to robotic fire-extinguishing units. Robotic fire extinguishing unit with a system for preventive monitoring and selective quenching comprises fire robots, which include a flail shaft with vertical and horizontal guidance drives, nozzle with jet spray angle change drive, disc gate with drive, pressure sensor and local control panel, connected to switching unit, optical device with television camera and infrared sensor, connected to device for identification and determination of coordinates of ignition source, which is connected to control device, connected to video monitor and switching unit. According to the invention, the device includes a unit for identifying heat-generating zones with a program for identifying their origin from the digitized location of probable heat carriers, connected at the input to the optical device, to the television camera and the infrared sensor, and with an output control device, and an energy center selector with a program for determining peak temperature coordinates, connected at the input to the identification device and determining the coordinates of the source and control device at the output.

EFFECT: unlike the known ones, the proposed robotic fire extinguishing unit with a system of preventive monitoring and selective quenching allows before occurrence of fire and damage associated with it, preventive measures are taken to prevent fire, and when fire occurs, the efficiency of suppression is increased.
