FIELD: firefighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a robotic fire extinguishing unit. The unit comprises fire robots connected to a firefighting pipeline, including a monitor with vertical and horizontal guidance drives, a nozzle with a drive for changing the jet spraying angle, a disk shutter with a drive, a pressure sensor and a local control panel, connected with a switching unit connected with a control apparatus connected with IR detectors via an apparatus for identifying and determining the coordinates of the ignition source, wherein additionally connected to the firefighting pipeline at the section of the protected room outside of the active area of the fire robots is a distribution sprinkler network with sprinklers with forced activation and a sprinkler control unit connected with the control apparatus, and IR detectors installed permanently, connected with the apparatus for identifying and determining the coordinates of the ignition source.

EFFECT: proposed robotic fire extinguishing unit allows for effective fire extinguishing both in the active area of the robots and outside of said area, applying a united system for determining the coordinates of the fire, thus significantly increasing the operating speed of the sprinkler system and the fire extinguishing system as a whole.
