FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pump equipment, in particular, to pressure part of pump with flange, by means of combination of forging processes and mechanical processing. Method comprises stamping ingot in open die to produce part of pump, forging said billet in a closed forging die by performing strokes in several steps to produce a semi-finished part of pump, geometric shape of which is not less than 70 % corresponds to a given final shape, rough machining of external surfaces of sections of said semi-finished product intended for mounting of pump discharge part, with preservation of areas not intended for installation in state, obtained immediately after forging, performing corresponding heat treatment and further rough or semi-finished machining of outer surfaces, drilling of internal channels in thermally treated semi-finished product and finishing machining of external surfaces of semi-finished product to produce preset final shape of pump discharge part.
EFFECT: use of the invention increases efficiency of material use during production of the pump discharge part and improves its mechanical properties.
