FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a new peptide inhibitor of interleukin-23 (IL-23) receptor, and can be used in medicine. Invention enables to obtain an acylated polypeptide containing an intramolecular cycle formed by a disulphide or thioether bond between positions X4 and X9 in a molecule of said polypeptide, and capable of inhibiting binding of IL-23 to its receptor.
EFFECT: said peptides can be used for treating or preventing a number of diseases and disorders associated with IL-23 signal transmission, including inflammatory intestinal disease or Crohn's disease.
