FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used for combustion of fuel (gaseous, dusty, liquid, or a combination thereof) in industrial furnaces and other thermal units. The diffusion-vortex gas burner contains manifolds for gas supply, a box with horizontal or vertical dividing partitions located in it, forming slotted air channels, dividing partitions are hollow in the form of a streamlined body in cross section, while the cavities of the dividing partitions are connected to the gas supply manifolds, the end face of the streamlined body at the burner outlet is located at an angle of 90°. The profiled surfaces of the walls of the dividers are made ribbed in such a way that the ribs form channels for blowing air over the gas dispensing holes located at the outlet ends of these ribs, the gas dispensing holes release gas in cocurrent jets, and an aerodynamic protrusion is formed in the middle of the outlet end of the streamlined body of the dividing walls for the both sides of the ledge.
EFFECT: invention improves efficiency of fuel combustion in an air stream.
